Our vitamin C powder booster just got an upgrade. We added ferulic acid, which helps vitamin C perform better.

This innovative and stable form of vitamin C (l-ascorbic acid) for the skin is the best to get the vitamin directly to our skin.

As many of you may know, l-ascorbic acid in water-based formulations are very unstable and quickly oxidize and begin to turn yellow.

The problem with vitamin C creams and serums on the market is that they have a short shelf life. Vitamin C quickly degrades and becomes ineffective once dissolved in liquids.

We have seen it with our own eyes as we have time and time again tried to formulate water-based creams with a high vitamin C content. It just doesn't remain stable for very long, like 4 weeks tops!

So we decided to create a powder-based high percentage Vitamin C product so that stability would not be an issue. This two-step solution solves the problem by providing active vitamin C to the skin every time.


WHAT IS IT?

C the Power boasts potent water-soluble antioxidant L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), which protects skin from oxidative damages caused by the sun rays (UVA/UVB radiation).  It improves skin elasticity by enhancing the production of collagen.

C the Power Activator (sold separately) is a vital part in making up the C the Power treatment more effective. However, you can also add it to any Lotus Moon serums or moisturizers such as Hyaluronic Intensive, Hibiscus Flower Hydrating Lotion or even Skin Boost. You can add some powder to Living Greens Powder Masque

L-Ascorbic Acid is a beneficial component to this powerful application to restore moisture balance, heal wounds and repair tissue. C the Power® helps to protect and repair delicate tissue, fade discoloration and decrease fine lines.

L-ascorbic acid in its powder form does not oxidize and therefore remains stable as opposed to when it is solubilized in water-based formulations. When Lotus Moon C the Power is mixed with our C the Power Activator along with one of our serums, the powder dissolves and then delivers 100% active, unoxidized vitamin C to the skin.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Active ingredient, L-Ascorbic Acid is a beneficial component in this powerful concentrate to restore moisture balance, heal wounds and repair tissue.  C the Power® helps to protect and repair delicate tissue, fade discoloration and decrease fine lines.

This product must be used with a liquid. It dissolves perfectly with our C the Power Activator, however you can use it with other water-based toners for your skin type.

RITUAL

• After cleansing and toning, shake a small amount of C the Power into the palm of your hand
• Add a few drops of activator. Rub hands together and gently massage entire face, neck and décolleté.
• Follow with your favorite Lotus Moon moisturizer or serum.
• Use once daily
