DESCRIPTION

Whether you're experiencing adult acne, teenage acne, or monthly breakouts -- Tonic Active helps exfoliate the dead skin build-up that's causing clogged pores.

It also fights the bacteria below the skin surface in order to prevent future breakouts from occurring.

Tonic Active contains a beta hydroxy acid (bha) that is found in salicylic acid which exfoliates as it kills bacteria.

This astringent does the job without stripping your skin and causing excessively dry or oily skin.

Rooibos tea extract provides antioxidant protection while the essential oils help get to the root of acne. Any acne-fighting skin care program is not complete without Tonic Active.

KEY INGREDIENTS:

Salicylic Acid 2% – Proven anti-acne agent due to antiseptic properties, very effective keratolytic BHA agent (exfoliant within skin pores); smoothes skin and improves its texture; bactericide and anti-inflammatory properties; oil-reducing; penetrates pores to help clear out impurities; softens the keratinized barrier cells, helps dissolve top layer of corneum cells and improves look and feel of the skin.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) –  helps fade discoloration, wrinkles and fine lines, acne, and redness.

Lavender Essential oil – calming properties that promote the healing from skin types of scars, dermatitis, acne and eczema. Benefit to dermis is immediate since it easily and rapidly is absorbed by the skin. Is said to normalize any skin type and stimulate cellular growth and regeneration

Glycerin – Natural humectant used for its hydrating, softening and soothing properties

Biotin (B7) – nourishes and strengthens skin.

RITUAL

Use as needed. If overused, irritation may occur.
